
Shawn Layden
Shawn Layden is an American businessman and former executive at PlayStation.
During a 30-year career at Sony, Layden served as CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Japan, Sony Interactive Entertainment America, and chairman of Worldwide Studios.
Layden joined Sony in the late 80s and worked on every PlayStation console until his departure in late 2019, right before the launch of PlayStation 5.
He is now an independent consultant advising non-profits, start-ups, and games industry companies such as Tencent and Streamline Media Group.
