
Satoru Iwata
Satoru Iwata was a Japanese programmer and businessman best known for his work at Nintendo as president and CEO from 24th May 2002 – 11th July 2015. Prior to Nintendo, he worked for HAL and is best known for his programming genius aiding with the development of Pokémon Gold & Silver and Pokemon Stadium.
He passed away on 11th July 2015.
