Kazuya Takahashi

Kazuya Takahashi is a game designer at Nintendo, known for directing 2025’s Donkey Kong Bananza.

Takahashi joined Nintendo in 2020, having previously worked on other open world titles at companies such as Square Enix.

He said in a new interview that his previous work gave him some “interesting” experience that he said carried on to Bananza.
