Daisuke Watanabe

Daisuke Watanabe is an artist at Nintendo, best known for art directing 2025’s Donkey Kong Bananza.

Previously, Watanabe was a character artist on games such as Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Mario 3D Land.

His most recently credited games, other than Bananza, are Super Mario Odyssey, and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.
