
Asha Sharma
Asha Sharma is an American executive and the current CEO of Microsoft’s gaming division, Xbox.
She succeeded Phil Spencer in February 2026 and previously served as president of Microsoft‘s CoreAI product.
After graduating from university, Sharma joined Microsoft’s marketing department in 2011.
She left the company in 2013 to join a home services startup, then joined Facebook as VP Product & Engineering for its Messenger and Instagram Direct products. She rejoined Microsoft in 2024.
