VGC LIVE: KNOW BEFORE YOU GO!
The time is finally here; VGC Live is this Friday. Before the show of shows, we’ve put together some information that will help the weekend run smoothly and hopefully answer any questions you may have.
Where is VGC Live?
VGC Live is being held at Oran Mor.

Where should we queue?
VGC Live is being held in The Venue, which you can enter via the side of the main building (pictured below).
When does the show start?
Doors will open at 6PM. The show will begin at 7PM.
Merchandise will be for sale before the show, during the intermission, and after the show (while supplies last).
The show will run for around 1hr and 45 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission.
Can we sit anywhere?
Virtually all sections of the audience will be unreserved. Any seats that are blocked off will be clearly marked. Please fill up the audience from the front to the back.
What merchandise will be on sale?
We have a limited number of event t-shirts, signed event posters and pin badges.
T-shirts are £20, posters are £15, and badges are £5.
The majority of these were pre-sold, so if you’d like something, please arrive early to avoid missing out.
We can take cash or card, though CASH IS PREFERRED for the sake of speed, and potentially dodgy internet signal in The Venue.

Can we film the show, or take pictures?
The show is being filmed, so we ask that you don’t take pictures or videos during the majority of the show. However, please feel free to take photos and videos as the show is ending (say goodbye…).
The filmed version of the show will be released in the future.
Can we meet you?
Of course! Following the show, we will have around a 1-hour meet & greet session, after which point we’ll have to vacate the venue due to a club night taking place. There will also be other events across Friday and Saturday, that we’ll be attending, though your best chance to see us all together is directly after the show.
Special guests at the show may stick around; please be respectful when asking for pictures or autographs.
Is there anything planned after the show?
A member of the VGC community has booked The Locale (The Locale, 241 North St, Glasgow G3 7DL) for both before and after the show.
Before the show: 1 PM – 6 PM
After the show: 10 PM – 1 AM
This is a 10-minute Uber, or a 20-minute walk away.

What about Saturday?
On Saturday, we’ll kick the day off with a private shopping hour at Forgotten Worlds, the UK’s biggest retro games store.
This will take place from 9AM. The shop will open to the general public at 10AM, but after that we’re still welcome to shop.

We recommend finding others in the VGC Discord that will be heading the store on Saturday, as it may be cheaper to split a taxi, or get a train to Paisley and then get a taxi from there.
What about Saturday afternoon?
After Forgotten Worlds, we’re saying goodbye to VGC Live weekend with a casual day of hanging out at Drury Street, a pub in central Glasgow.
