Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition release date listed by Amazon Mexico
Online retailer suggests May 29 launch for the upcoming Switch game
The Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition release date is May 29, 2020, according to a new Amazon Mexico listing.
Danish retailer Cool Shop also began listing May 29 as the Switch game’s release date in January, GameXplain reports.
Nintendo announced Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition during the last full Nintendo Direct broadcast in September 2019.
“Explore Bionis and Mechonis with Shulk, Reyn, Fiora and friends in this legendary adventure when it arrives in 2020,” the platform holder said.
Monolith Soft’s RPG originally released for Wii in 2010 in Japan, before launching in Europe the following year and in the US in 2012.
It has a score of 92 on review aggregation site Metacritic.
It was recently claimed that a Nintendo Direct presentation will take place next week, possibly on March 26.
Unlike recent Nintendo Directs which focused on specific games (Pokémon and Animal Crossing: New Horizons), the next full Direct is expected to take a broader look at Switch’s upcoming software line-up.
A new Direct this month would end what has become the largest gap between Nintendo Direct presentations since the initiative was introduced.
