Xbox Game Pass titles for September include Gears 5 and Dead Cells
Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3 HD Editions also joining the subscription service
Microsoft has confirmed six upcoming console additions to the Xbox Game Pass library.
Dead Cells, Metal Gear Solid 2 HD Edition, and Metal Gear Solid 3 HD Edition will join the service on September 5.
On September 6, hack-and-slash dungeon crawler Creature in the Well will arrive for subscribers, as will Gears 5 Ultimate Edition for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members. The standard edition of the Xbox shooter will be available to Xbox Game Pass members from September 10.
Gunfight dungeon crawler Enter the Gungeon, and procedurally generated 2D platformer Gonner Blüeberry Edition will hit Xbox Game Pass on September 12, Microsoft said on Wednesday.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate launched in June, combining Xbox Live Gold membership with Xbox Game Pass for console and PC.
September’s Xbox Live Games with Gold titles are Hitman: The Complete Collection, We Were Here, Earth Defense Force 2025 and Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
The first Gears 5 reviews went live on Wednesday, with the critical reception to the title largely positive.
