Xbox confirms Extended showcase on June 14 with ‘new trailers’ and ‘deeper looks’
The additional show will last for approximately 90 minutes
Microsoft will hold an Xbox Games Showcase Extended stream following the Xbox & Bethesda showcase, it has announced.
According to a blog post from Microsoft, the company will “share new trailers, take deeper looks at the news from the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase and speak with some of your favorite game creators”.
The broadcast, which will be around 90 minutes in length, will begin on Tuesday June 14 at 10AM PT / 6PM UK / 1PM EST and be broadcast in English, Latin America Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German and French.
The main Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase will be held on Sunday, June 12.
The event will start at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST and will be streamed in over 30 languages on the likes of YouTube, Twitch and Facebook.
“This show will feature amazing titles coming from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, and our partners around the world,” Microsoft said when announcing the event.
“The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase will include everything you need to know about the diverse lineup of games coming soon to the Xbox ecosystem, including upcoming releases to Game Pass on Xbox and PC.”
Microsoft held its previous E3-style showcase alongside newly-acquired Bethesda in June 2021.
While E3 2022 has been cancelled, The Game Awards founder Geoff Keighley has confirmed his digital event Summer Game Fest will take place as planned this year, likely in June.
Starfield appeared during last year’s Xbox and Bethesda Showcase, marking the first time it had been shown since its announcement in 2018.
Game director Todd Howard said in November that Bethesda could be expected to offer the next major Starfield reveal this summer.
