Warzone’s new helicopters have been removed after players used them to turn invisible
The new vehicle was added to the battle royale game this week

Call of Duty Warzone’s new attack helicopters have temporarily been removed from the battle royale game to combat a significant glitch which allowed players to turn invisible.
Attack helicopters were introduced to the game on Wednesday at the start of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 1.
Available on both Verdansk and the new Rebirth Island map, they’re similar to the game’s regular helicopter but feature a minigun mounted on both side rails.

Prior to the attack helicopter’s removal, players were pulling off the invisibility glitch by being revived after being downed while in the minigun seat.
Developer Raven Software addressed the glitch and the vehicle’s removal on Twitter on Thursday.
In May, Infinity Ward temporarily disabled helicopters in Warzone because they were being used to abuse out of bounds glitches.
And in September, a Warzone update temporarily removed all vehicles from the game following the discovery of a game-breaking glitch.
Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 1 is billed as “the largest free content drop in Black Ops history”.
Publisher Activision has just launched a free Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War multiplayer week, which includes access to a limited portion of the game’s online modes until December 24.
