Warzone Season 4 will include Juggernaut Royale and Realism modes
Latest content roadmap also reveals upcoming multiplayer map and modes
Activision has revealed fresh details about the content set to be included in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 4.
Launched last night in the US and today in Europe, Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 4 includes a large amount of new content including a Season Pass, in-match events for the Battle Royale game and a 50 versus 50 team mode.
And a newly released content roadmap for the season reveals plans to add two new Warzone modes at a later date: Juggernaut Royale and Realism.
The former sees three Juggernaut suit care packages dropped into the map, offering the wearers increased health, a mini-gun and zero-fall damage accompanied by a ground pound move that hurts nearby players. Players can still ride in vehicles and climb ladders while wearing the suit. When they’re defeated and sent to the Gulag, a new suit will be dropped into the battlefield.
As in the multiplayer mode, Realism in Warzone features a minimal HUD and increased headshot damage.
Warzone will also receive a new Supply Run Contract, plus fresh weapons in the form of the Rytec AMR sniper rifle and Kali Sticks.
Cheshire Park will be a new multiplayer map, while new multiplayer modes will include All or Nothing, One in the Chamber and Team Defender.
Warzone users will be able to take part in a free multiplayer weekend beginning on June 12 at 10am PT / 6pm BST and lasting for 72 hours. It will include 6v6 maps Zhokov Scrapyard and Hardhat, plus a Gunfight playlist with seven maps.
“84GB” trended worldwide on Twitter on Thursday as Activision said it was investigating a larger than expected Modern Warfare and Warzone patch for Xbox players.
