Here’s 10 minutes of off-screen video from Nintendo’s Europe HQ
VGC was recently able to play a variety of upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 titles at the company’s European HQ. Above, you can see ten minutes of new Mario Tennis Fever gameplay.
In addition, we’ve published a video and preview of Super Mario Bros. Wonder’s Switch 2 Edition, as well as our eyes-on impressions of the upcoming Virtual Boy Switch 2 accessory.
Mario Tennis Fever will be released for Nintendo Switch 2 on February 12 and will feature the most playable characters in the series’ history, in addition to a new ‘Fever Rackets’ feature.
These new rackets each have unique abilities, such as the Ice Racket, which can freeze parts of the court, making it more difficult for your opponent to move around. By hitting and returning shots, players fill up their Fever Meter. Once full, they can use a Fever Shot.
VGC’s Chris Scullion wrote in a recent Mario Tennis Fever preview: “While I’ve been burned enough times to know not to buy too much into the hype, so far the signs are positive. For starters, there’s a Story mode in here again, and it has the potential to be more involving this time.”
