VGC Off the Record is back – and now it’s a podcast

This week we discuss Sony’s store closures, E3 2021 plans and more

This is a blog post, where VGC writers post irreverent and (occasionally) entertaining coverage of video game culture.

After a brief hiatus, VGC’s Off the Record chat show returns this week – and for the first time, it’s available as a podcast.

VGC Off the Record is our news chat show, where site editors (and friends) discuss the week’s biggest games stories and behind the scenes gossip, and answer any questions submitted by VGC readers.

This week host Steven Mcinerney and VGC journalists Andy Robinson and Chris Scullion discuss the burning issue of game preservation, as Mario All-Stars is pulled from sale and Sony prepares to close many platform stores.

The trio also discusses the new Call of Duty Warzone map leak and The ESA‘s plans for a digital E3 2021, including its apparent u-turn on plans to charge for some content.

Don’t forget to subscribe to the VGC YouTube channel to receive updates as soon as our exclusive games videos are published.
