Universal Pictures has released four clips from the Super Mario Bros. Movie’s bonus features.
Viewable below, they’ve been published to coincide with the movie’s physical release in the United States and Canada today.
In the clips, Illumination, Nintendo and members of the cast discuss bringing the world of Mario to life on the big screen, including designing the Mushroom Kingdom and the cinematic treatment of power-ups, among other features.
4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD and digital editions of The Super Mario Bros. Movie ‘Power Up Edition’ are now available, featuring over 30 minutes of bonus content, which is listed below.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie has generated over $1.3 billion at the global box office since its release in early April.
It’s the biggest film of 2023 to date, ahead of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which launched a month after Mario and has grossed $806 million, according to Box Office Mojo.
