Ubisoft’s E3 show will feature Rainbow Six Quarantine and ‘big announcements’
Assassin’s Creed publisher details its plans for June 12’s Ubisoft Forward
Ubisoft has revealed more details on its Ubisoft Forward showcase planned for next week, as part of E3 and Summer Game Fest.
The publisher said it will kick off the June 12 event at 11am PT / 7pm BST with a pre-show featuring news on upcoming updates for For Honor, Trackmania, The Crew 2, Brawlhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion, and more.
The main show will kick off at 12pm PT / 8pm BST featuring “big announcements, updates on some of Ubisoft’s live titles, and some surprises that you won’t want to miss.”
That includes the first official look at the next mainline entry in the Rainbow Six franchise, formerly known as Rainbow Six Quarantine, and new looks at Far Cry 6 and Riders Republic.
Ubisoft will also provide updates from “live titles” such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Rainbow Six Siege on their upcoming content, as well as the Apple TV+ series Mythic Quest and soon-to-release movie Werewolves Within, plus “a few additional surprises.”
Finally, at 1pm PT / 9pm BST, Ubisoft Forward will conclude with a Rainbow Six Siege Community Briefing to update players on the game’s top issues, as well as going in-depth with Siege developers on how they designed the latest Operator, Thunderbird.
“We can’t wait to share more about our upcoming line-up at Ubisoft Forward as part of this year’s digital E3 event,” said Ubisoft’s EMEA executive director, Alain Corre in a prepared statement.
“This is always a highly anticipated moment for our industry and an opportunity to celebrate new content and creations. We’re proud to be showcasing such a diverse portfolio of games with something for every type of player, not forgetting a few surprises of course.”
The all-digital E3 event runs from June 12-15 and will include a four-day live broadcast hosted by Alex ‘Goldenboy’ Mendez, Jacki Jing and Greg Miller, featuring publisher showcases, press conferences, industry panels, livestreams and more.
Meanwhile, Summer Game Fest’s Kick Off Live will take place on Thursday, June 10 at 11 am PT / 2 pm ET / 6 pm GMT. Produced and hosted by Keighley, the showcase will feature “more than a dozen” world premieres, while also serving as a preview of the publisher livestream events planned to follow.
