Ubisoft will show off ‘the future of The Division franchise’ on Thursday
Including the Division 2, The Division Heartland and The Division Resurgence
Ubisoft will show off what’s in store for its The Division series during a franchise showcase this week.
“Clear your calendar for April 20th because we’re about to take you on a journey through the past, present, and future of The Division Franchise,” the publisher tweeted on Tuesday.
In addition to revealing The Division 2‘s year five roadmap and the game’s new Descent mode, the presentation will include a Division Resurgence project update and a gameplay preview of The Division Heartland.
Viewable on Ubisoft’s Twitch and YouTube channels, Thursday’s presentation will begin at 11am PDT / 2pm EDT / 7pm GMT / 8pm CEST.
Announced last July, The Division Resurgence is billed as “the first high-end AAA mobile looter shooter experience for Android and iOS devices”.
The free-to-play open-world game features a PVE campaign that is playable solo or in co-op.
Ubisoft recently confirmed that The Division Resurgence will be released during the 12 months ending on March 31, 2024.
Announced in May 2021 and developed by Red Storm Entertainment, The Division Heartland is a free-to-play game for PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
It introduces new playable characters in a rural American Midwest town called Silver Creek. The first official gameplay for the title was released last September.
Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry publisher Ubisoft recently announced plans to hold the next Ubisoft Forward product showcase in June live from LA.
