Ubisoft announces Rainbow Six Tactics
It’s a single-player turn-based game coming to consoles and PC

Ubisoft has announced Rainbow Six Tactics, a new spin-off set in the Rainbow Six universe.
Players take control of Six, the commander of the Rainbow unit, and have to lead elite teams of up to four operators.
There are a total of 15 operators to choose from, each with their own abilities, specialized gadgets and skill trees.
Developed by Ubisoft Paris, the game is set for release on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, but no release date has been confirmed.
“At the heart of the experience is a loop that moves players between global command and tactical execution – selecting missions, preparing the right operators, resolving turn-based encounters, then returning to HQ to train the team, review intel, and strengthen Rainbow’s capabilities for the next operation,” Ubisoft‘s description reads.
“Hostage rescue, bomb disposal, and target elimination missions demand careful preparation, tactical improvisation, and precise execution. Players can break walls to open new lines of sight, remove enemy cover, and create alternate entry points as the situation evolves.
“The Breach feature builds on this foundation as a decisive tactical moment – a synchronized assault that breaks the turn-based rhythm and lets all operators act at once as they storm a new area by surprise, combining operator abilities with environmental destruction in explosive Rainbow Six fashion.”
