February’s titles will likely be confirmed later today
Three of the games coming to Xbox Game Pass in February have been leaked.
According to Deallabs user billbil-kun, who has a consistent track record of revealing games coming to the subscription service ahead of their public confirmation, this month will see the Resident Evil 3 remake, Madden 24 (via EA Play) and PlateUp joining Game Pass this month.
Update
The full list of games has now been officially confirmed by Microsoft.
Madden’s inclusion marks the continuation of an EA tradition in which each year’s Madden is added to the EA Play catalogue in the week leading up to the Super Bowl, which takes place this Sunday.
Billbil-kun also claims that the official announcement of February’s Xbox Game Pass games will come later today.
Persona 3 Reload was the first game to join Game Pass in February, while January’s Xbox Game Pass titles included Palworld, Those Who Remain, Turnip Boy Robs a Bank and F1 23.
Microsoft recently suggested it’s exploring the possibility of offering access to Xbox Game Pass streaming in exchange for viewing advertisements.
Microsoft will share details about its “vision for the future of Xbox” next week, following reports that the company has decided to release more of its games on rival platforms.
Over the weekend it was claimed that Bethesda’s Starfield and its upcoming Indiana Jones and the Great Circle could be released for PS5, in addition to previously rumoured Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves ports for Sony’s console and Nintendo Switch.
On Monday those rumours increased in volume when it was claimed that Microsoft is considering bringing the Gears of War franchise to PlayStation too.
