The first Dying Light 2 single-player DLC has been revealed
Bloody Ties is coming to PC and consoles in mid-October
Techland has unveiled Dying Light 2 Stay Human’s first single-player DLC.
Titled Bloody Ties, the expansion will be released worldwide for PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles on October 13.
The trailer below premiered on Tuesday during Gamescom Opening Night Live.
“In Bloody Ties, players will embark on a new story adventure, you will reach the epicentre of death, wealth and absolute splendour in a stunning location; The Carnage Hall,” reads the trailer description.
“This old opera building is full of challenges and quests, surprising new weapon types, character interactions, and discoveries to uncover.”
Players who pre-order the DLC will get access to the Aristocrat Pack, which includes an exclusive weapon and outfit.
Today’s reveal follows a Dying Light 2 datamine last month which suggested the title’s first major expansion could be gladiator themed.
Prior to Dying Light 2’s release, Techland said it intended to support the open-world zombie sequel with at least five years of post-launch content.
It later delayed Dying Light 2’s first story DLC from its originally targeted June release date until between September and November.
