The final eight tracks set to be added to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe have been confirmed.
Wave 6 of the game’s Booster Course Pass will be released on November 9, marking the last of six waves of DLC that were planned for the game.
According to Nintendo, the final eight tracks are:
- Rainbow Road (Wii)
- Madrid Drive (Tour)
- DK Mountain (GCN)
- Daisy Circuit (Wii)
- Piranha Plant Cove
- Bowser Castle 3 (SNES)
- Rome Avanti (Tour)
- Rosalina’s Ice World (3DS)
Nintendo has previously confirmed that Wave 6 will also include four new playable characters – Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, Pauline and Peachette – bringing the total roster to 50 characters, not counting colour variations.
Further information on Nintendo’s Japanese website also reveals that Wave 6 will add 18 new Mii Suits to the game. 17 of these will be added to the player’s collection automatically, while the 18th suit, which is based on Daisy, can be unlocked by scanning a Daisy amiibo.
A new Sound Test feature will also be added to the game when Wave 6 arrives, letting players listen to any music from the game.
Priced at $24.99/£24.99, the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass added 48 DLC tracks across six waves.
Players who subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online’s Expansion Pack receive access to the DLC as part of their subscription.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is Switch’s best-selling game. As of June 2023, it had sold 55.46 million copies, according to Nintendo.
