Suda51 may reveal the next Grasshopper Manufacture game this year
Suda’s latest game, No More Heroes 3, arrives on PS5, Xbox and PC this fall
Suda51 could reveal Grasshopper Maufacture’s next game before the end of the year, according to a new interview.
Speaking on the NetEase Games Youtube channel, spotted by Niche Gamer, Suda talked about the future of the studio and what he has planned for the rest of the year.
“The games we make at this studio, I mean the really, truly cool and all-new games, we’re going to continue creating them,” Suda said.
“I wonder when I can announce them? Maybe around the end of the year?”
Suda went on to say that the announcement “may end up being next year, we’ll see how it goes,” adding: “I want to hurry up and show everyone what we’re doing.”
While nothing about the new game is shown, at one point in the video the camera passes by a computer screen prominently displaying a helmet from Power Rangers in Space, or Denji Sentai Megaranger as the series was known in Japan.
Grasshopper Manufacture‘s most recent title, No More Heroes 3, will be released on PlayStation, Xbox and PC this Fall.
The Grasshopper Manufacture title was released in August 2021 for the Nintendo Switch, but has now been confirmed to be headed to other formats.
These new versions will feature improved visuals, better framerates and faster loading times.
In VGC’s No More Heroes 3 review, we called the game “a faithful follow-up for better or worse”, saying: “No More Heroes 3 is exactly what fans of the series have been waiting for – an authentic sequel that continues the story of Travis Touchdown.
“If you loved the previous games, you’ll love this. However, it doesn’t offer anything new to improve on the series’ flaws, meaning anyone who isn’t a devotee may want to try the original first to see if its quirky, sharp-tongued style is for them.”
