Street Fighter 6’s new trailer shows off classic characters and World Tour mode

A new Street Fighter 6 trailer has been published, featuring a selection of classic characters and the game’s World Tour mode.

As revealed during Capcom‘s TGS 2022 Online Program, players will have the ability to customise their own character to take on the story mode.

This will feature a large open world, and will seemingly allow players to explore various locations, meet classic Street Fighter characters and battle against other NPCs.

The game’s character creator was also highlighted, which will allow players to customise their character’s appearance and moves greatly. Special moves can be learned from classic characters in the series, which will be situated around the open world.

Certain moves can also be used outside of battle, such as Chun-Li’s Spinning Bird Kick being used to traverse a gap.

E. Honda, Blanke, Dhalsim, and Ken were all also officially shown off as part of the trailer, each with an updated look. While this is the first time they’ve been shown in action, their presence in the game has been known for some time. 

Extreme Battle was also revealed, a new game mode that will let players set custom rules and modifiers to make battles more interesting. Several examples were shown in the trailer, such as a “Bouncing Bomb” mode which saw players having to avoid explosives while fighting.
