Steam’s Spring Sale is now live, featuring ‘thousands of discounts’
The promotion is running until March 21
Valve has launched Steam‘s Spring Sale.
Running until March 21 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 5pm GMT, the promotion includes discounts on thousands of games, according to the company.
Featured discounts include:
- Sons of the Forest for £18.74 (25% off)
- Resident Evil 4 for £24.73 (25% off)
- Party Animals for £10.84 (30% off)
- Lies of Pi for £37.49 (25% off)
- Starfield for £40.19 (33% off)
- Mortal Kombat 1 for £35.99 (40% off)
- Forza Horizon 5 for £24.99 (50% off)
- Dave the Diver for £12.74 (25% off)
- Diablo 4 for £29.99 (50% off)
- Palworld for £22.49 (10% off)
- EA Sports FC 24 for £11.99 (80% off)
- Street Fighter 6 for £32.99 (34% off)
- Modern Warfare 3 for £38.99 (35% off)
The Epic Games Store also launched its Spring Sale this week.
Running until March 28, featured discounts include EA Sports FC 24 for $13.99 / £11.99 / €13.99 (80% off) and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown for $29.99 / £26.99 / €29.99 (40% off), while Skull and Bones will reportedly be discounted to $44.99 / £37.49 / €44.99 (25% off) later this week.
Epic has also boosted its Rewards programme from its standard rate of 5% to 10% for the duration of its Spring Sale.
A record 14,535 games were released on Steam in 2023, up roughly 2,000 from the previous year’s count, according to tracking site SteamDB. So far this year, 3,278 games have been released on the digital distribution platform.
Two years after Steam Deck launched, over 14,000 games are now compatible with Valve’s handheld.
Of these games, over 4,600 have been ‘Verified’ by Valve, meaning they work “great on Steam Deck, right out of the box”, while over 9,400 are deemed to be ‘Playable’, meaning they “may require some manual tweaking by the user to play”.
