Stadia announces new exclusives and launches Click to Play feature

Including Orcs Must Die 3 and titles from Harmonix and Supermassive Games

Google has announced a host of fresh Stadia games, including several exclusives, and launched a new Click to Play feature.

“Only on Stadia” games revealed on Tuesday (see the video above) include timed exclusive Orcs Must Die 3 from Robot Entertainment, which is playable now with Stadia Pro or purchasable separately.

Splash Damage’s Outcasters will also launch this fall exclusively for Stadia, and Google has signed exclusivity deals for untitled games from Harmonix (Rock Band), Supermassive Games (Until Dawn) and Uppercut Games (Submerged).

Other titles coming to Stadia include Super Bomberman R Online (fall 2020), Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (fall 2020), PGA Tour 2K21, WWE Battlegrounds and NBA 2K21 (all 2020), Dead by Daylight (September 2020), Hitman (September 2020), Hitman 2 (September 2020), Hitman 3 (January 2021), Hello Neighbor (September 2020, on Stadia Pro at launch), Hello Neighbor: Hide & Seek (holiday 2020, on Stadia Pro at launch), and Outriders (2021).

Stadia has also launched Click to Play, a new feature which lets Stadia Pro subscribers click the links in YouTube video descriptions to instantly play the games they are viewing. Click to Play is available on any Stadia supported device.

Google introduced a significant Stadia price cut in June, just seven months after the platform’s November 2019 launch.

It’s now offering the Stadia Premiere Edition (which lets you play games on your TV using Google Chromecast Ultra and a Stadia Controller) for $99.99/£89.99/€99.99, down from its original $129/£119/€129 price.
