Sega has now officially announced the previously leaked Two Point Campus
The sequel to Two Point Hospital is now confirmed to be a legit product
Sega has finally announced Two Point Campus, 10 days after it originally leaked on the Microsoft Store.
Two Point Campus will be launching simultaneously on PC and consoles in 2022, and has players taking control of their own university campus.
Players will be in charge of developing campus grounds, buildings and surroundings, and will be able to lay down the likes of dorms, pathways and hedgerows to plan the campus’s basic layout.
Students can take part in a variety of courses, which are suitably silly in keeping with the comedic theme of its predecessor Two Point Hospital.
These include Knight School – where students learn jousting and chivalry – and Gastronomy, where they learn how to make enormous pizzas.
Players also have to keep their students are happy by making sure they have plenty of friends and attend extracurricular events like gigs, sports games and societies.
The first details of Two Point Campus, leaked via a Microsoft Store listing at the end of May.
Two Point Studios‘ first game, Two Point Hospital, was a spiritual successor to classic simulation title Theme Hospital.
Created by Bullfrog and Lionhead alumni Gary Carr, Mark Webley and Ben Hymers, the spiritual successor was released for PC in August 2018.
Sega acquired Two Point Studios in May 2019. Following the acquisition, Two Point Studios became a wholly owned Sega studio, alongside Creative Assembly, Sports Interactive, Relic Entertainment, Amplitude Studios and Hardlight.
“We hope that the incredible Two Point community will love all the new creative freedom that Two Point Campus will bring and that new players will be intrigued by its setting and the quirky world we’re trying to build, packed with our trademark humour and charm,” Carr said in a statement.
