Sackboy A Big Adventure PC reveal trailer confirms October release date
The platformer is the latest PlayStation game making the jump to PC
Sackboy A Big Adventure will be released for PC on October 27, 2022.
The news was revealed in a trailer for the game, which Sony’s Latin American YouTube account appears to have published early, ahead of an official announcement.
The trailer, which is viewable below, confirms that the PC version of Sackboy will support 4K 120FPS, 21:9 ultrawide monitors, Nvidia DLSS and VRR.

PlayStation has now confirmed the release in a blog post. The blog includes system requirements and new screenshots.

The Steam page for the game has now gone live.
Players who pre-order the game will receive several costumes based on PlayStation games.

Originally released for PS4 and PS5 in 2020, Sackboy A Big Adventure is a 3D platformer developed by LittleBigPlanet 3 and LittleBigPlanet Vita studio Sumo Digital.
VGC’s Sackboy A Big Adventure review called the game an innovative platformer that makes the most of the PS5’s exclusive features.
“Every console launch lineup needs a reliable game aimed at children and young families,” our critic wrote. “Sackboy: A Big Adventure fills that hole nicely for the PS5, but it also has enough tricks up its sleeve to make it a definite recommendation for any platforming fan.”
Sony is in the process of ramping up its PC game releases. A PC version of Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection will be released on October 19 and Spider-Man Miles Morales is coming to PC this year too.
A video showing off the settings menu for a PC version of Returnal also leaked on Wednesday.
PlayStation boss Jim Ryan said during a business briefing in May that Sony expects half of its annual releases to be on PC and mobile by 2025.
