Is PSN down? I just got kicked from my Hogwarts Legacy session stating it can't verify my license. When I go restore licenses, it states can't connect to PSN but my wifi works on everything else.

PSN down for some players as error messages tell users they ‘can’t use this content’
A message reading, “can’t connect to the server to verify your licence” is greeting some players
PSN is reportedly down for some users.
Several users, including VGC, have been greeted by a message saying, “Can’t use this content. Can’t connect to the server to verify your license. Wait a while then try again.”
Latest update
PSN functionality appears to be returning to normal. VGC has been able to access digital games and the previous error code no longer appears.
This error can usually be resolved by restoring licenses in the PlayStation system menu. However, doing so currently isn’t working at the time of writing.
VGC will update this story should the situation change. The official PlayStation Network status page is yet to reflect the issue, despite reports of it spreading across social media.

Users have been able to download games, suggesting that some elements of the PlayStation Network are working correctly. However, there appears to be an issue in verifying licenses for digital games.
Earlier on Tuesday, PlayStation begun rolling out the first of February 2023’s PlayStation Plus games.
Confirming an earlier leak, Sony recently announced that February’s PlayStation Plus Essential games are OlliOlli World (PS5/PS4), Mafia Definitive Edition (PS4), Evil Dead: The Game (PS5/PS4) and Destiny 2: Beyond Light (PS5/PS4 DLC).
Sony announced last week that the PlayStation Plus Collection will be pulled in May. Launched in 2020, the collection includes 19 PS4 games which PlayStation Plus subscribers can claim and play on PS5 at no extra charge.
