PS5 Slim Black Friday deal cuts the console’s pre-order price to £459

The new PlayStation 5 Slim console has received a £20 pre-launch discount at UK retailer Currys for Black Friday.

By entering the code SLIM20 at the checkout stage, Sony’s new console can be pre-ordered for £459 (it’s normally £479).

PS5 Slim pre-orders went live on Thursday, when Sony confirmed plans to launch the console in the UK on November 29.

Like the launch model, the new PS5 is available in the form of a standard edition featuring a disc drive and a cheaper Digital Edition without one.

The Currys discount code can only be used on the more expansive PS5 Slim model.
