Price changes are coming to Halo Infinite’s shop after player feedback

343 industries has said it will change the prices of several items across the Halo Infinite shop following feedback from players.

It has also confirmed that individual items will be released for sale outside of the confines of a bundle which previously saw players forced to buy collections of items, even if they only wanted to piece from the set.

Writing on Twitter, head of design at 343 Jerry Hook said that the team had “…been monitoring the discussions on the shop, bundles and pricing closely since launch”

In a follow-up tweet, Hook said: “Starting Tuesday, the Shop experience will vary week-to-week. We are focused on reducing pricing across the board, providing stronger values in our bundles, starting to put individual items outside of bundles, and more.”

He concluded the thread with: “We will be trying new things throughout the rest of the season so that we can continue to learn and improve for the future. Please keep the feedback coming during this process and I hope to see you all next week for the Cyber Showdown event!”

Cyber Showdown follows the recent conclusion of the Christmas-themed ‘Winter Contingency’ event during which players could unlock festive items.

343 Industries recently extended Halo Infinite Season 1, which was originally expected to conclude early this year, until May.

“We made the decision to extend Season 1 to give ourselves more time to ensure Season 2 meets our high quality bar and so we can finish development for Season 2 in a healthy and sustainable way for our team,” said Halo Infinite head of creative Joseph Staten.

“Importantly, with the Season 1 extension, we aren’t just stretching-out our original Season 1 plan. Indeed, we took this opportunity to add additional events, customization items and other content to Season 1 to make it an even richer experience from start to finish.”
