Pokemon Scarlet & Violet are getting a 7-star Cinderace Tera Raid
It’s the first chance players will get to catch a Cinderace
A new 7-star raid has been announced for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
As reported by Serebii, the 7 Star Tera Raid Battle event will allow players to fight and catch a Cinderace.
Because the Cinderace isn’t part of the game’s Pokédex, there’s currently been no way to catch one. As such, this raid will be the first chance players will get to catch a Cinderace for their collection.
The Cinderace in this event will also be different from those seen in other games, in that it will have the Fighting Tera type (it’s usually a Fire-type) and the Mightiest Mark (which shows it was caught during the raid).
The event will take place on two separate occasions. The first session will start and end at the following times:
- PT – December 29 at 16:00 until December 31 at 15:59
- ET – December 29 at 19:00 until December 31 at 18:59
- GMT – December 30 at 00:00 until January 1 at 23:59
The second session will start and end at the following times:
- PT – January 12 at 16:00 until January 14 at 15:59
- ET – January 12 at 19:00 until January 14 at 18:59
- GMT – January 13 at 00:00 until January 15 at 23:59
Players will be able to battle Cinderace multiple times during the course of the event, but they will only be able to catch it once.

“The huge expansion and changes to the single player campaign are great, the size of the world and the joy of exploration are the best in the series, and the new Pokemon and battle mechanics introduced all sing,” we wrote.
“However, it’s just impossible to shake the thought of how much better the game would feel if it was on more powerful hardware, or simply ran acceptably on Switch.”
