PlayStation reveals limited edition Wolverine PS5 console, controllers and console covers
The yellow and metallic ‘adamantium’ colours are launching alongside the game
Sony has revealed a limited edition PS5 console, as well as console covers and controllers, to tie in with the release of Marvel’s Wolverine.
The PS5 Digital Edition Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle contains a yellow PS5 Digital Edition console with a Wolverine design, as well as a matching yellow DualSense controller.
The bundle will only be available as a PS5 Digital Edition, with no plans to sell PS5 Disc Edition or PS5 Pro bundles.
Instead, players who already own a PS5 Slim or PS5 Pro can buy the console cover separately, while the yellow DualSense controller will also be available as a standalone purchase.
Sony will also be selling a metallic ‘Adamantium’ version of the console cover (for PS5 Pro only) and a metallic ‘Adamantium’ DualSense controller.
The console, controllers and console covers will all be released on September 15 alongside the games, with pre-orders starting on August 19 at PlayStation Direct.

The console design was created by Scottish comic book artist Mark Simpson, best known by his pen name Jock, who contributed to the game’s key art.
“I wanted to show Wolverine at his fiercest for Marvel’s Wolverine Limited Edition PS5 Console bundle and accessories,” Jock said in a statement. “I still draw all my artwork traditionally, so the opportunity to marry cutting-edge hardware with the energy and looseness of hand-drawn ink is incredibly exciting.
“I’m stunned by how well the console and accessories captured the raw energy of the drawing, bringing Wolverine to life in a completely unique way.”
Sony notes that the console covers will include versions for consoles with and without disc drives.
