It includes a Legendary Operator Skin and two Legendary Weapon Blueprints
PlayStation Plus members can claim a new Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone Combat Pack.
The free in-game bundle has been released to coincide with the launch of Vanguard and Warzone Season 4, Mercenaries of Fortune.
Viewable in the trailer below, the Combat Pack includes a Legendary Operator Skin for Halima Zambardi, two Legendary Weapon Blueprints and a double XP token.
Select Vanguard and Warzone content being made available early to PS4 and PS5 players won’t be released on other platforms until November 1, according to the trailer.
Sony and Activision have a long-standing Call of Duty marketing deal which in recent years has seen PlayStation owners receive a range of exclusive content including in-game bundles, exclusive game modes and early access to public tests.
2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare came with a Special Ops Survival mode which was exclusive to PS4 for one year, while 2020’s Black Ops Cold War included a Zombies mode called Onslaught which was exclusive to PS4 and PS5 for 12 months.
PlayStation players who pre-order Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will receive first access to the game’s open beta.
The beta, which has yet to be dated but could launch in August, will be available on PS4 and PS5 consoles at least five days earlier than any other platform.
The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 release date is October 28, 2022.
According to a reliable leaker, July’s free PlayStation Plus Essential games will include Crash Bandicoot 4 and Man of Medan, the first game in The Dark Pictures anthology.
