Nintendo has announced a series of new Switch and Switch Lite console bundles.
The bundles, which are coming to North America on October 6 and Europe on October 20, include the standard edition hardware and come with a download code for a free game.
North America will be getting a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle, which features a standard red and blue Switch console, as well as a free digital copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a three-month membership for Nintendo Switch Online. Previous Mario Kart bundles did not include the game for free.
The bundle costs the typical Switch retail price of $299.99, meaning a total saving of $67.98.
Europe, meanwhile, is getting a Nintendo Switch Sports Bundle, which also features a standard red and blue Switch console and a three-month membership for Nintendo Switch Online, but includes a digital copy of Nintendo Switch Sports instead of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
Both regions will also be getting two Nintendo Switch Lite bundles – each of these come with a free digital copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and each has a new Animal Crossing design.
The Isabelle’s Aloha Edition is a pink Switch Lite console, while the Timmy & Tommy’s Aloha Edition is blue. Both have an Animal Crossing leaf logo on the front of the console and a leaf pattern on the back.
The Switch Lite bundles will each cost the typical Switch Lite price of $199.99, meaning a total saving of $59.99.
Although Nintendo has occasionally bundled games with the Switch console in the past, this is the first time it’s released a selection of hardware bundles with different free games.
The Switch is approaching what may be the the console’s final holiday period as Nintendo’s latest system, so Nintendo will be hoping these bundles give the console another boost in its sixth year.
