Nintendo confirms Bravely Default will release in February 2021
Switch exclusive receives brand new trailer
Nintendo and Square Enix have released a new Bravely Default 2 trailer and confirmed that the Switch exclusive will release on February 26, 2021.
The Nintendo Switch RPG was first announced in December 2019 and planned for release in 2020. A demo was released on the eShop in March of this year.
The game received an M (Mature) rating from the Australian Classification Board on September 22.
Bravely Default 2 producer Tomoya Asano (Octopath Traveler) and composer Revo (Sound Horizon/Linked Horizon) held the same roles on 2012’s original Bravely Default for Nintendo 3DS.
Publisher Nintendo says the upcoming Switch game features a new story, world and characters, “but with the atmosphere and excitement the Bravely series is known for”.
It sees players travelling the world “in search of the four Crystals with the latest incarnation of the brave band known as the Heroes of Light”.
