Nintendo announces limited edition for mech shooter
Daemon X Machina to see special release in Europe and Australia
Nintendo has announced a limited edition version of mech shooter Daemon X Machina for release in Europe and Australia.
The ‘Orbital Limited Edition’ includes a physical copy of the game, an 18cm-tall Arsenal statue, a 100-page artbook, a SteelBook case and a hangar-style box with a compartment in which the Arsenal statue can be displayed.
Nintendo did not confirm pricing at the time of publish.
Daemon X Machina will release for Nintendo Switch on September 13. The Marvelous-developed action game has players taking to the battlefield in deadly mechanised battle suits known as Arsenals in order to defend the planet from corrupted AI-controlled robots.
The game is directed by Kenichiro Tsukuda, who previously worked on games in the Armored Core series at FromSofteware.
Nintendo recently released a new video showcasing some of the changes it has made to the game, thanks to feedback to a demo release earlier this year.
