Wild Card Football will replace The Callisto Protocol and Gigantic: Rampage Edition
Next week’s free Epic Games Store title has seemingly been revealed ahead of its official announcement.
According to ever-reliable dataminer billbil-kun (via Dealabs), Saber Interactive ‘s Wild Card Football will be free to download from Epic’s PC marketplace from August 29 to September 5.
“Wild Card Football is a fun pick-up-and-play arcade-style football game featuring 7v7 team-focused gameplay with the unique Wild Card system that lets you change the course of the action in an instant with special power-ups and rule-breaking abilities,” reads its Epic Games Store listing.
Released in October 2023, Wild Card Football costs $29.99 / £24.99 at full price on the Epic Games Store and Steam, although it’s currently $7.49 / £6.24 (75% off) on Valve’s marketplace.
The PC version of the game doesn’t appear to have been widely reviewed, while the PS5 version has a score of 72 on Metacritic.
Death’s Gambit – Afterlife and World of Warships — Starter Pack: Albany are currently free to claim from the Epic Games Store until August 22.
They’ll be replaced by The Callisto Protocol and Gigantic: Rampage Edition, which will be free from August 22-29.
The Epic Games Store launched on mobile this month. It’s available on iOS in the EU, and worldwide on Android.
