New Spider-Man Miles Morales gameplay footage reveals an Into the Spider-Verse suit pre-order bonus
Suit is also earnable for all players
Spider-Man Miles Morales will include an Into the Spider-Verse suit, Sony has revealed.
Based on the suit in 2018’s Oscar-winning animated movie, it will unlock on launch day for pre-orders customers, but is also earnable for all players.
In the video above, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse production designer Justin K. Thompson discusses how Insomniac Games faithfully brought the suit design into the game.
Rather than simply adding it as an alternative skin, Insomniac replicated Into the Spider-Verse’s comics-inspired animation style, with pop-up words and burst cards complementing the action sequences.
The suit is one of two players can unlock by pre-ordering the game, the other being the new Time Response Activated Circuit Kinetic suit. Pre-orders also come with three extra skill points and a gravity well gadget.
Insomniac recently confirmed that Spider-Man Miles Morales saves will be transferable from PS4 to PS5. However, cross-generational saves won’t be supported between the PS4 version of Marvel’s Spider-Man and its PS5 remaster.
Spider-Man Miles Morales PS5 footage released earlier this month revealed one of the hero’s companions, a cat who’s part an unlockable suit, while another gameplay video showed off the game’s first boss battle.
