New Borderlands 3 campaign DLC arrives in March
Guns, Love, and Tentacles to launch following game’s Steam release
Gearbox has announced the next campaign DLC for Borderlands 3.
‘Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock’ will launch for consoles and PC on March 26.
The game’s second campaign add-on is set on the ice planet of Xylourgos, which plays home to mutated rock slugs, ferocious wolven and occultists with eldritch powers, and includes the return of Vault Hunter Gaige and her robot Deathtrap.
Guns, Love, and Tentacles DLC features
- Reunite with old friends and team up with some eerie new characters to help true love triumph over eldritch horror;
- Confront bloodthirsty enemies and formidable bosses, including alien beasts, hideously mutated occultists, and a clan of cold-blooded bandits;
- Delve into the disturbing and occasionally daft backstories of cursed townfolk in a host of spine-tingling side missions;
- Arm your Vault Hunter with some of the deadliest gear in the galaxy, including a trove of additional Legendaries and some supremely powerful Class Mods; and,
- Flaunt your sense of style with a slew of new cosmetic items, from Vault Hunter Heads & Skins to interactive Room Decorations and all-new Vehicle Skins.
Gearbox has also announced a Borderlands 3 Steam release date of March 13, six months after its Epic Games Store debut.
The title will support cross-platform play between Steam and the Epic Games Launcher, the studio confirmed at PAX East on Thursday.
