Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 6 patch notes detail today’s update

Activision has released the patch notes for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 6.

Available now on all platforms, Season 6: The Haunting introduces a variety of new multiplayer, Zombies and battle royale content.

You can check out the full Modern Warfare 3 Season 6 patch notes here, and the Warzone Season 6 patch notes here.

The latest season is horror themed, introducing new Operators including Michael Myers, Art the Clown and Daryl Dixon.

On the multiplayer front, there’s a new killer clown-themed 6v6 map called Drive Thru, plus six new map variants.

New game modes include Infected, Hordepoint, Arcade and Mutation.

For the final season of Modern Warfare Zombies, Operators can access Dark Aether Rift Runs for free (there’s no need to offer up a Sigil), while all schematics recover twice as quickly.

In Warzone, there’s a new Rebirth Island map variant called Hellspawn, and a night version of Vondel.

Purgatory is “a new squad-based LTM taking place on the Hellspawn map variant featuring a sandbox setting where squads can battle and complete objectives at their own pace”, according to Activision.

A Call of Duty Black Ops 6 multiplayer beta concluded last week, ahead of the game’s release on October 25.

Activision recently confirmed that it won’t offer early access to the Black Ops 6 campaign, as has been the case for recent entries.
