Zombies will receive a mid-season update which challenges players to “learn the secret entrances to the Unstable Rift and face intense waves of zombie hordes until every undead entity is slain, or your team is overwhelmed.”
In Warzone, “in an effort to enhance the Battle Royale experience on Urzikstan”, Activision has increased the number of players in each match from 100 to 120.
The Specialist Perk is also now available in Urzikstan. So too is the new Tactical Sprint Boots, which increase speed and reduce fall damage, and a new UTV in the form of the Polaris RZR.
A new Warzone feature also sees designated points of interest on the map identified as ‘Loot Hot Zones’, with players receiving higher tier loot than normal depending on how fast they can reach the area.
On Tuesday, Microsoft released a live action trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and announced that the title will be available on Game Pass when it launches this year.
The game will be fully revealed during the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Direct on June 9, which will directly follow this year’s Xbox Games Showcase.
