Since November 2020, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers on console have received an EA Play membership at no additional cost.
Following the introduction of the new benefit, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members have been able to redeem EA Play codes for Xbox consoles, which automatically convert and extend their subscription to Microsoft’s service.
Until recently, customers were able to convert a one-year EA Play subscription (which costs $29.99/£19.99) to four months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (which normally costs $59.96/£43.96).
However, in an update on Xbox’s support site (via Twisted Voxel), the company has confirmed that a one-year EA Play subscription now converts to just two months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate ($29.98/£21.98).
EA Play was also made available to Xbox Game Pass PC subscribers in mid-March following a three-month delay.
Earlier on Tuesday, Microsoft detailed the next batch of games coming to Xbox Game Pass for Xbox, PC and Cloud including SnowRunner, The Wild at Heart, The Catch, Knockout City, Maneater, Conan Exiles and MechWarrior 5.
