Ubisoft has provided new details about its post-launch plan for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope.

The publisher intends to release three DLC packs for the Nintendo Switch game next year, the first of which will only be available to Season Pass holders.

Titled ‘The Tower of Doooom’, it will add a new combat game mode when it launches in early 2023.

An official description reads: “Madame Bwahstrella needs Mario, Rabbid Peach and their friends to clean her multi-dimensional tower and save their old friend Spawny! Coming early 2023, this extension will add a new combat game mode in which players will face highly strategic battles as they make their way to the top of the Tower.”

The second DLC will see players “confront a mysterious foe on a new, enchanting planet” when it arrives in mid-2023.

Launching in late 2023, the third DLC pack will see players take control of Rayman as he joins forces with Rabbid Mario and Rabbid Peach for “a surprising, fun and epic adventure”.

While the second and third DLC packs will be purchasable separately, The Tower of Doooom will only be available with the game’s $29.99 Season Pass.
