Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 next year
The news was announced as part of a new trailer for the game’s upcoming story DLC

Xbox and Machine Games’ Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is coming to Nintendo Switch 2.
The news was shared during Gamescom Opening Night Live on Tuesday, alongside a 2026 release date.
Indy represents the first major Xbox first-party title to be announced for Nintendo’s platform, after the company publicly stated its intention to support Switch 2.
According to reports, Xbox is prepping multiple releases for Switch 2, including Diablo 4, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and Microsoft Flight Simulator. Activision has also committed to releasing Call of Duty games on Switch 2, although Black Ops 7 is so far missing from the roster.
MachineGames‘ The Great Circle was first released for Xbox and PC in December to positive reviews, amassing over four million players, according to Microsoft’s official numbers. It was then released on PS5 in April 2025.
VGC’s Indiana Jones and the Great Circle review called it “one of this year’s greatest adventures”.
“We had a smile on our face from beginning to end while playing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle,” we wrote. “As close as games can come to a genuine old-fashioned Hollywood blockbuster, it’s also an incredibly rich adventure game stuffed to the gills with secrets to find.”
