How to watch the Final Fantasy 7 25th anniversary live stream

Square Enix is set to hold a Final Fantasy 7 25th anniversary stream later today.

The 10-minute show will kick off on June 16 at 3pm PT / 6pm ET / 11pm BST (June 17 at 12am CEST).

It will be viewable on YouTube and Twitch, and you’ll also be able to watch the stream live via the video embedded at the top of this page.

While the event will be fairly brief, Square Enix has teased plans to deliver plenty of news during the broadcast.

“At only around 10 minutes long, it will be short and sweet, but we have packed in lots of information, so I hope everyone can look forward to the unveiling,” Final Fantasy 7 Remake director Tetsuya Nomura said last week.

The event appears likely to include information on Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2, since Square Enix has previously indicated that it would like to share details on the sequel during this anniversary year.

The Final Fantasy 7 25th anniversary stream will clash with another event being held by fellow Japanese publisher Capcom.

It will be streaming a ’10 Years of Dragon’s Dogma’ digital event at 3pm PT / 6pm ET / 11pm BST (June 17 at 12am CEST), which could be used to reveal a sequel to action RPG.

Few details have been revealed about FF7 Remake Part 2 so far, other than confirmation last year that Naoki Hamaguchi, the co-director of FF7 Remake Part 1, will take over full directing duties for the follow up as Nomura takes on a broader creative director position.

Nomura has also said that, compared to last year’s Intergrade re-release, Part 2 will make more use of PS5’s unique hardware features.
