Hitman 3’s Seven Deadly Sins is a 7-part DLC expansion starting next week

Hitman 3 will be getting a seven-part DLC expansion based on the seven deadly sins.

Hitman 3: Seven Deadly Sins will include “new gameplay opportunities, visually distinct contracts and unique sin-themed rewards,” according to IO Interactive’s announcement.

The first part will launch on March 30 and is named Act 1: Greed, where players are sent back to Dubai for new missions.

Greed’s main focus is a new Escalation called The Greed Enumeration, which lets players carry certain items over between the three stages included.

By playing Greed, players will be able to unlock the Rapacious Suit, the Greedy Little Coin and the Devil’s Cane.

The pack costs $4.99 / £4.99 / €4.99, or players can buy the Seven Deadly Sins Collection and get all seven chapters (as they’re released) for the discounted price of $29.99 / £29.99 / €29.99.

As well as the paid DLC, Hitman 3 will also be getting new live content through an event called Seasons of Sin.

This will add regular free content for all players, with each season focusing on a different sin and lasting 4-6 weeks. The first of these, the Season of Greed, starts on March 30 alongside the paid expansion.

Hitman 3 has already received regular free content, with content roadmaps in February and March outlining new contracts and unlockable outfits for players. Some of the March content, such as the Berlin Egg Hunt, is expected to run on into April, suggesting that the Seasons of Sin will not be the game’s only live content going forwards.

VGC’s Hitman 3 review praised the game for its art design and entertaining assassination opportunities, but said it was let down somewhat by its final level.

“Wobbly conclusion aside, it’s a must for existing fans and a great introduction to gaming’s boldest, baldest stealth series,” our critic wrote.
