Hitman 2 content roadmap reveals new bank and resort locations
Fresh assignments, sniper maps and unlockable items coming this year too
IO Interactive has announced its Hitman 2 content roadmap for 2019, revealing some of the DLC set to be made available to owners of the various editions of the game.
The plan is to release new locations, assignments and unlockable items, including weapons and outfits, on a seasonal basis.
The first content drop was a new sniper map called Hantu Port, which arrived via a game update in late March.
Upcoming 2019 highlights are detailed in the roadmap image above, although IO cautions that its content plans are subject to change.
New sandbox locations set to be introduced include The Bank and The Resort, arriving this summer and fall respectively.
IO says each location will include “new targets, challenges and mastery unlocks that can be used in all Hitman 2 environments”.
A new sniper map called The Prison will arrive this autumn too.
There are different levels of access to the content depending on which version of the PS4, Xbox One and PC game players purchased.
For those who didn’t buy the Hitman 2 silver or gold editions, a $40/£33 expansion pass offers access to all of the game’s DLC.
IO has also committed to releasing free Hitman 2 content for all players, including a series of “elusive targets” — unique contracts that are only available for a limited time.
