Ghost of Yotei is getting New Game Plus, new Trophies, and more next week
The PS5 exclusive’s next update includes new cosmetics, trophies and more

Sucker Punch has confirmed that Ghost of Yotei will receive a New Game Plus mode next week.
New Game Plus mode for Ghost of Yotei will be released for free on November 24. This update will be unlocked after the first time you’ve completed the game. A new, harder difficulty option will also be added to the game in this update, as will two new Trophies.
A new currency, Ghost Flowers, is also coming in the update, which players can exchange with a new vendor for 30 new cosmetic items. This includes new armor sets, weapon dyes, and charms. A new set of upgrades for the currently available cosmetics will also be included in the free update.
New accessibility options are also included in this patch, as is the ability to replay past story missions that you’ve already completed.
It was recently claimed that Ghost of Yotei surpassed 3.3 million units sold in its first month of availability, according to PlayStation.
The first weekend of sales for Ghost of Yotei made it the biggest first-party release for a PlayStation game in Europe since Spider-Man 2, according to GSD European Chart data.
VGC’s Ghost of Yotei review gives the game five stars and says it “delivers on the promise of Tsushima with a touching samurai epic”.
“Ghost of Yotei fulfills much of the promise of Ghost of Tsushima, delivering a hugely enjoyable open-world game, that almost rids itself of Tsushima’s bloat,” we wrote. “Pacing issues and some underdeveloped villains aside, Yotei improves on the original game in every department, and delivers best-in-class visuals and music.”
