Genshin Impact creator Hoyoverse announces realistic new Monster Hunter-like game, Nodus Fall
Nodus Fall is a co-op RPG inspired by Monster Hunter being developed by Hoyoverse
The creators of Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and many more are now working on a Monster Hunter-like action RPG titled Nodus Fall.
Rumors of the game’s existence have been circulating online for several weeks after the title was trademarked, but now the game has been officially unveiled at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026, hosted by Geoff Keighley.
The trailer showcased realistic graphics and a new fantasy setting. We also see up to three players taking on a variety of large, imposing creatures and possibly humanoid foes.
Hoyoverse is best known for mobile-friendly gacha games with anime-style visuals. Nodus Falls is a significant departure from that.
It’s been well-received by fans, with some commenting, “Looks absolutely incredible. I’m shocked.”
Another commenter said, “So this is where the billions earned from Genshin is going, can’t complain tbh.”
Nodus Fall does not currently have a release date or release window.
