From Software responds as The Duskbloods’ first Network Test session is marred by ‘Failed to log in’ errors
The Duskbloods Network Test was ended early after players received log in errors

Players eager to try out From Software’s new The Duskbloods were left disappointed today.
The Duskbloods first Network Test session started at 11 AM BST, but unfortunately participants were mostly met with an error screen.
“Failed to log in to The Duskbloods game server. Select “OK” to attempt to log in again.”
Unfortunately, repeated attempts ended in the same result for most players, and as such, a majority of select Network Test participants were left unable to try the game.
This is particularly frustrating for participants, as the Network Test only operates during strict hours. There are five sessions in total, each lasting just four hours.
From Software ended the Network Test session early in response to the errors with a statement on social media, saying, “We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to those who were waiting for the first The Duskbloods network test due to game server issues.
“We regret to inform you that today’s session is now closed. We will continue to work on improving the servers and will announce future schedules at a later date.”
There are just four sessions left for The Duskbloods Network Test, and players are hopeful that it’ll run more smoothly in the future.
VGC went to Japan to speak to Hidetaka Miyazaki about The Duskbloods and the future of From Software.
