“This event marks a new beginning for Fortnite,” Epic said on Tuesday.
“The experience will be available in the Battle Royale tile in Discover 30 minutes prior, so you can jump in before the event starts to gear up with any of your cosmetics.”
Epic warned that the event will have flashing lights and that anyone with “a history of photosensitivity, seizure, loss of awareness, or other conditions linked to an epileptic condition” should consult a doctor before entering.
It added: “Even if you do not have a history, you may still experience severe dizziness, seizures, epileptic seizures, or blackouts triggered by lights, flashes, or patterns while participating in this experience. IMMEDIATELY DISCONTINUE if you experience any discomfort.”
Prior to the event’s announcement, Fortnite leaker HYPEX claimed it will feature Eminem, Lego, and Rhythm and Racing modes.

Following the event’s announcement, Lego Group published a teaser image of a Lego Fortnite llama.
On Monday, it was also claimed that Fortnite’s Rhythm Mode will be a casual and competitive offering which sees individuals or teams performing vocals and instruments to earn free rewards.
It will reportedly feature tracks from artists including Lady Gaga (Pokerface), Linkin Park (Numb), Toto (Africa), Imagine Dragons (Thunder) and Alice Cooper (Poison), as well as Fortnite Music Packs.
Earlier this month, Epic said Fortnite enjoyed the biggest day in its history “with over 44.7 million players jumping in and 102 million hours of play”.
The record player engagement coincided with the launch of Fortnite’s current OG season, which is taking battle royale players on a trip down memory lane via a series of updates that introduce a different phase of the game’s past.
